LABEL SPECIALIST / CÍMKE SPECIALISTA - NYOMDAIPAR (LV)

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reviewing the requests for label estimate for accuracy and completeness and to gain knowledge of specific details and quality requirements;
Delivering cost estimates of time and materials on printing label jobs;
Renewal and updating pricing quotes;
Evaluating the methods for producing the labels, and selecting the most economical way which meets the customers’ expectations;
Seeking vendors to outsourcing the jobs;
Advising and guiding Customer Service and Sales Department to specifications of label project, such as paper grade, size of product, binding style, providing creative and innovative alternates;
Keeping contact and supporting external and internal customers;
Work with Purchasing in procuring the most competitive price and best delivery;
Submitting alternative methods for producing print and packaging materials;
Registering product related data in corresponding systems in order to deliver products based on the client’s requirement;
Monitoring and evaluating Production performance data to assure costing mechanism works in alignment with operation;
Collaborate with Production Engineering at various plans to identify items for improvements.

EXPECTATIONS:

Bachelor Degree (Accounting, Engineering or related field preferred);
Experience with Print and/or Packaging industry is required (Knowledgeable regarding printing and packaging specifications such as layout, spoilage, standards, finishing, adhesive tapes, graphic overlays, címkegyártás, termékcímke, jelöléstechnika, nyomdaipar, nyomtatás, grafika, etikett, csomagolóanyag gyártás);
Very good knowledge of label and IT technology to include computers and software programs such as MS Office processing, EXCEL spreadsheets;
At least 5 years of experience in the field of cost estimating and product engineering;
Active ENGLISH knowledge in oral and written form;
Strong foundational skills such as self-motivation, responsibility, communication skills (oral & written); detailed oriented, and the ability to manage multiple items simultaneously;
Self-starter, able to manage project with minimal guidance;
Thrive in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented atmosphere;
Strong hands-on attitude;
