Currently we are looking for

SALES DIRECTOR - BUILDING MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION (LV)


Location: Budapest / Hungary

Package: competitive salary + yearly bonus + company car

Type of employment: employee


Main tasks:

  • Development and implementation of a market-oriented sales strategy on the Hungarian market;
  • Execution of sales plans (turnover, volume, margin) and achievement of business targets;
  • Expansion of the customer base and identification of new business opportunities across target groups (B2B, Distribution, DIY, Independent channels);
  • Design, development and continuous improvement of the sales organization, including planning of required human and material resources;
  • Effective, performance- and goal-oriented leadership, motivation and development of the sales team;
  • Close cooperation with marketing and logistics to ensure efficient market presence and customer communication;
  • Establishment and maintenance of relationships with key customers and management of Key Account activities;
  • Ensuring effective communication towards target groups while maintaining existing sales channels;
  • Monitoring and analysis of sales performance;
  • Initiation and implementation of business development and change management initiatives;
  • Cross-functional collaboration with other departments to support overall business objectives.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Business, Economics, Marketing or Engineering;
  • 5–10 years of relevant experience in a similar senior sales leadership role (National Sales Manager, Commercial Director, Sales Manager, Senior Key Account Manager, értékesítési vezető, kereskedelmi igazgató) preferably within Building Materials, Construction or related industries;
  • Experience in building and managing a sales organization;
  • Proven track record in strategy development (B2B Sales, DIY, Distribution, Independent channels, Contractors);
  • Experience in developing and executing sales strategies and managing multichannel sales structures;
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience managing diverse teams;
  • Excellent organizational, communication and negotiation skills;
  • Strategic way of thinking, with hands-on, results-oriented approach;
  • High level of commitment, initiative and accountability;
  • Fluent ENGLISH and (native Hungarian) language skills;
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
