Your Role:

You will be hired as Software Developer for business line. You will be part of a greenfield project team that is granting access to the possibility of network visualization. With this product, our customers are able to create and visualize their networks and get better optimization decisions.
You will be part of a new product team that tackles mathematical problems to solve logistics questions. In collaboration with algorithm experts, you will implement the application and help shape the microservice strategy.
The Tech Stack for this specific team: Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Spring, Docker, Angular, PostgreSQL, Gitlab, Jenkins, Gradle, IntelliJ, VS Code, Jira

You will support the team by:

Designing and developing our custom-made network-viewer application
Contributing to all phases of the software development life cycle
Creating automated tests for different test levels (unit, integration and end-to-end)
Performing code reviews for your team colleagues
Working effectively with Product Owner to refine user stories

Additionaly:

Bringing in your expertise on infrastructure and frameworks to shape highly scalable and secure backend solutions
Extending and applying our optimization engines in new ways
Taking a Cloud Native DevOps approach to software development

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, we believe you should bring at least 1 years of development experience with Java

In addition, the following are important to us:

Very good English proficiency to communicate with our international colleagues.
You can develop features effectively in Typescript (preferably in a modern web framework)
You have extensive knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS
You have the willingness to improve your knowledge both on the frontend and the backend side
High awareness for code quality (clean code principles)
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business or a comparable course of study

Advantages:

Experience with Spring framework
Experience on the frontend Angular knowledge
Knowledge with SQL and ORM technologies
Experience with microservices and serverless design paradigms in a public cloud environment (preferably AWS)
DevOps mindset and strong sense of personal ownership
