Currently we are looking for a


Location: Budapest, hybrid (1 day in the office/week)

Salary: daily rate (HUF)

Type of work: contractor, start: 18 July

Project length: 6+ months


  • Design and develop the required reports/customizations. Mostly SSRS reports, then D365 views, then
  • Electronic Reports (in the order of expected workload).
  • Ensure the accuracy and performance of reports, optimizing them as necessary. Independently creates high quality code with limited oversight available.
  • Engage with the Business Analyst and business experts to clarify business requirements.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all developed reports and configurations.
  • Suggest technology and solution choice/design across various options (standard D365 reports, extended D365 reports, SSRS, Electronic Reporting, D365-view or Power BI).
  • Challenges business to simplify requirements where appropriate.
  • Support the design and the build of the solution responding to the changes in business requirements and UAT defects and updating the documentation to follow change requests/user acceptance testing (UAT) defects.
  • Validate development and potentially collaborate with Business Analyst and business requestors during internal testing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SSRS reports and ER configurations.


  • University degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, computer sciences 
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience in D365 F&O 
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Experience with complex projects and full software development lifecycle. 
  • Experience in developing D365 reports: SSRS, D365 view, Electronic Reporting or similar discipline.
  • Extensive knowledge of Azure DevOps, .NET, X++, CI/CD 
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills. Excellent documentation skills. 
  • Understanding of processes related to IT support, operations, and software development strong analytical skills, ability to abstract. 
  • Ability to work effectively with engine

Ideal candidate:

  • Understands various reporting technologies within D365 F&O (standard D365 reports, extended D365 reports, SSRS, Electronic Reporting, D365-view, etc.) and can develop these.
  • Understands the deployment process. 
  • Can work with Azure DevOps.
  • Has overall understanding what the business does and how it does it. Various types of business processes are involved, list is in the order of importance (Finance, Procurement, Warehousing, Project Management, HR, Humanitarian operations).
  • This includes understanding of specifics in the humanitarian sector and how these are customized and configured in D365 – not a pre-requisite, but a successful candidate needs to be able to quickly learn on the job.
  • Understands the basic principles of accounting including sub-domains such as General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Receivables, Inventory, Treasury, etc.
  • Solution oriented – demonstrates proactive attitude finding solutions to blockers
  • Understands needs/problems within business units based on business process documentation, user requirement specifications or design documentation.
  • Can analyse the data flow and calculations behind the reporting solutions and communicate their behavior.
