PRODUCTION MANAGER (LV)

PRODUCTION MANAGER (LV)

Location: Hajdú-Bihar county, on-site, 1 day/week HO

Package: competitive salary, bonus, cafeteria, car allowance+fuel card

Main tasks:

Responsible for the technical aspects of production through managing a team of experts of areas of production such as preliminary, pressroom, bindery, or packaging;
Provide further technical support to the effective operation of other departments, works on projects to improve efficiency of the operation or processes;
Manage the daily work of all area supervisors;
Confirm capabilities for new production requirements, incl. type of raw materials, or recommendation of raw materials;
Manage NPI process;
Manage requested tests (capability or raw material);
Look for alternative supplies and materials, perform and document test if required;
Work on production and process improvements (such as reduction of make ready, improve on speed, reduce wastes, improve on headcount utilization);
Support and coordinate Lean activities on the site;
Manage and work on production related CAPA (corrective and preventive actions, internal or external), and prepare solutions;
Responsible for the production to meet safety/EHS requirements from all aspects;
Responsible (through the team) for the production to follow GMP requirements;
Ensure that the competency level of operators and related staff meet requirements;
Ensure that continuous competency improvement is provided through trainings, regular feedback and proper communication channels.

Requirements:

Degree in (Light Industry) Engineering, Technical Manager, Business or Management;
Knowledge of technological process in the Printing Plant, familiar with printing plan technologies is a plus;
Previous experience in process control, manufacturing, quality or project management is required;
LEAN, 5S, Kaizen knowledge
Excellent written and oral ENGLISH skills (+native Hungarian);
Minimum 2-3 years of leadership experience working in similar fields (preferably Printing, Packaging, Paper Industry, Offset Printing, Printing Engineer, Flexographic, Automotive, Electronics, Production Manager, Engineering Manager, Operations Manager, Operational Excellence, LEAN, Six Sigma, termelésvezető, mérnökségvezető, műszaki vezető, nyomdaipar, csomagolóipar, csomagolástecchnika, papíripar, nyomdamérnök, könnyűipari mérnök);
Skills and experience with preparation, tracking and reporting of individual project plans to the management;
Target oriented, doing quality and punctual work;
Customer focused, great problem-solving skills;
Strong individual, assertive, excellent communication skills;
Six Sigma knowledge is an advantage.
