SHAREPOINT - ENTERPRISE SEARCH ENGINEER (NT)

Location: Budapest, XI., remote

Salary: competitive

Type of employment: employee OR contracting - 6 months contract

Responsibilities:

Enterprise Search Development: Design, implement, and maintain SharePoint Online search solutions, ensuring high performance, accuracy, and relevance for enterprise search queries across multiple data sources.
Integration with External Systems: Integrate and synchronize data from external systems (e.g., Wiki, ServiceNow, databases) into SharePoint search using Graph API, REST APIs, and Graph Connectors.
API Development: Develop and manage custom REST APIs and connectors for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to make external data accessible through SharePoint search.
Search Optimization: Monitor and optimize search performance, including managing indexing, crawling, and search query performance to deliver fast and relevant results.
Custom Development: Build custom search components using .NET Framework, C#, and related technologies, including Adaptive Cards for rich content presentation in search results.
CI/CD Pipeline: Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps CI/CD to streamline code release processes, including testing and deployment of SharePoint and API-based solutions.
Automation & Scripting: Use PowerShell to automate administrative tasks related to SharePoint search and integration workflows.
Documentation & Training: Document the architecture, design, and implementation of search solutions. Provide training and support to internal teams for effective usage and management of the search system."

Requirements:

7-9 years of experience
.NET Framework & C#: Strong experience in building enterprise-level solutions using .NET Framework and C#, including web services and integration with SharePoint.
Graph API & REST API: Proven ability to work with Graph API and REST APIs to integrate external systems and data sources into SharePoint search.
JSON: Proficiency in working with JSON for data serialization and deserialization between systems.
SharePoint Online: Strong experience with SharePoint Online architecture, including search configuration, indexing, and optimization techniques.
Azure DevOps CI/CD: Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for continuous integration and continuous delivery of SharePoint-based solutions and APIs.
PowerShell: Expertise in using PowerShell for SharePoint Online administration and automation tasks.
Adaptive Cards: Knowledge of developing Adaptive Cards for enhancing the presentation of search results and integrating them into the user interface.
Good communication skill in English.
Candidate needs to be currently in Hungary.
