TECHNICAL PRODUCT MANAGER (NT)


Location: Budapest, home office

Salary: competitive

Type of employment: full time, contracting


Responsibilities:

  • Own the product roadmap for the agentic content workflow platform and translate business needs into actionable technical requirements.
  • Define and prioritize the backlog in collaboration with the Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, and stakeholders.
  • Drive sprint planning, scope definition, and release management across the squad.
  • Act as the primary interface between the engineering team and downstream product squads that consume the workflows.
  • Gather and synthesize requirements from multiple stakeholders
  • Track delivery against commitments: manage risks, dependencies, and trade-offs transparently.
  • Coordinate cross-team initiatives, RFCs, and integration milestones.
  • Facilitate sprint reviews and communicate progress, blockers, and outcomes clearly to leadership
  • Define and track success metrics for workflows: quality, throughput, adoption, cost. Manage Jira boards, roadmap artefacts, and delivery reporting.

Requirements:

  • 3–5+ years as a Technical Product Manager in software engineering teams.
  • Strong technical literacy: comfortable with engineering concepts (APIs, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, AI/ML pipelines). Not expected to code, but expected to understand the system.
  • Product Management + Software Engineering
  • Experience working with AI/ML or data-intensive product teams (strong plus).
  • Proven ability to manage backlogs, roadmaps, and delivery in an agile environment.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and standard agile tooling.
  • Strong stakeholder management: ability to align multiple teams with competing priorities.
  • Comfortable in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where scope evolves.
  • Comfortable using AI tools to improve personal productivity and communication.
  • Experience with newly formed or scaling teams, establishing rituals and processes from scratch.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Able to bridge technical and non-technical.
  • Fluent English, spoken and written
  • Candidate needs to be to be currently eligible to work in Hungary
