About the role:
The Client is modernizing its digital workspace to support operational efficiency, collaboration, and information security across a global, hybrid workforce. The Client’s Digital Workspace is built on the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, which provides secure and integrated communication, collaboration, productivity, identity, and endpoint management services.
The purpose of this consultancy is to provide specialized expertise in the management, optimization, and governance of client’s Microsoft 365 and digital workplace environment. The consultant will ensure that the platform remains cohesive, secure, and aligned with organizational goals, while enhancing user experience and fostering internal capability development.
Tasks:
Analysis and Planning Phase
- Assess current Microsoft 365 tenant configuration, policies, and integrations.
- Evaluate existing device management and endpoint security practices.
- Identify gaps in governance, compliance, and automation.
- Engage stakeholders to determine user experience and service improvement needs.
Implementation and Optimization Phase
- Administer and configure Microsoft 365 services, including Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Manage user identities, access control, and licenses through Entra ID and Azure AD.
- Deploy and manage endpoints using Microsoft Intune and Autopilot.
- Implement and maintain security features such as MFA, DLP, Conditional Access, and Defender for Endpoint.
- Oversee device and MFP (Multi-Function Printer) service management.
- Enhance governance models, compliance policies, and reporting frameworks.
Monitoring and Support Phase
- Monitor system performance, user activity, and service health.
- Generate reports on adoption, compliance, security incidents, and usage.
- Provide technical support and serve as escalation point for complex issues.
- Develop and maintain documentation, SOPs, and FAQs for IT staff and users.
- Deliver training and knowledge transfer sessions to strengthen internal capacity.
Continuous Improvement Phase
- Stay informed on Microsoft roadmap developments and best practices.
- Recommend and implement service and process improvements.
- Support automation initiatives to increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with other DTS consultants (Power Platform, Azure, SharePoint) on integrated solutions.
Requirements:
- Advanced university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A first-level university degree with additional relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced degree.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in IT systems administration, cloud platform management, or digital workplace technologies.
- Proven experience managing and optimizing Microsoft 365 environments, including Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Entra ID.
- Extensive experience with endpoint and device management using Microsoft Intune and Autopilot.
- Strong background in IT security, compliance management, and governance frameworks.
- Experience developing or improving IT service delivery models and automation processes.
- Fluency in English (both oral and written) is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and service excellence.
- Ability to work effectively in an international, multicultural environment.
Technical skills:
- Microsoft 365 administration and governance.
- Intune, Autopilot, and Defender for Endpoint.
- Entra ID (Azure AD) and Conditional Access management.
- Microsoft Security and Compliance Center configuration.
- Data governance and reporting within M365.
- Endpoint configuration, patch management, and security.
- Automation and PowerShell scripting.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and hybrid cloud integration.
Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified Expert in M365 Productivity or Security.
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Expert.
- Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate or equivalent.
- ITIL Foundation certification preferred.
