INFROMATION SECURITY OFFICER (LJS)


Location: Budapest Metropolitan Area

Salary: competitive

Type of employment: employee, full time


Tasks:

  • Be a local representative (Information Security Officer) of the international Security team to act as a focal point for local IT Management
  • Develop and monitor IT Risk Management scenarios
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments
  • Implement and manage security measures to protect systems and data
  • Participate in monitoring and analyzing network traffic for signs of anomalous or suspicious activity
  • Collaborate with IT teams to optimize network architecture and server deployment
  • Discuss Security measures and plans with local business management and funnel their input into the international Security space
  • Lead local incident response activities, including detailed post-event analyses
  • Stay updated with current cyber security trends and evolving threats to implement pro-active controls and improve Security capabilities
  • Educate and train staff on Security (English - minimum B2 and Hungarian)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the area of Digital Security or a related area
  • Technical allrounder, experienced in the area of IT Risk Management or Supply Chain Risk Management
  • Standards and frameworks like ISO27001 or NIST should be nothing new for you
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of advanced or intermediate IT network skills, including firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities on international level
  • Knowledge in C-Level communication and KPI reporting.
  • Team spirit, sense of responsibility, and a structured and solution-oriented approach
  • Desire to continuously develop and actively shape security processes
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISA, CISM or equivalent are highly desirable
