SENIOR DATA SCIENTIST (JP)

Location: Budapest, hybrid

Salary: competitive

Tasks:

Work on an exciting new technology for the B2B and B2C market, with a revolutionary new AI technology to be launched later this year
Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models with focus on NLP applications
Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
Implement state-of-the-art deep learning architectures including transformers, attention mechanisms, and neural language models.
Design and implement machine learning models and statistical algorithms to solve business problems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions
Develop and maintain automated data pipelines and analytical workflows
Monitor model performance and implement improvements as needed
Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in data science and machine learning

Core responsibilities:

Design end-to-end ML solutions, architect complex NLP systems, and make technical decisions that drive product strategy
Build and deploy state-of-the-art LLM applications, implement novel architectures, and create robust evaluation frameworks
Lead research initiatives, validate new methodologies, and contribute to technical publications or conference presentations
Translate business requirements into technical solutions, collaborate with engineering on production systems, and communicate complex concepts to executives

Requirements:

Proficiency in Python
TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, scikit-learn
Strong knowledge of statistical methods and machine learning algorithms
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences
Proven experience as a senior project manager in a technology environment
Strong track record of delivering complex projects on time and within scope
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience working with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments
Customer-focused mindset with ability to balance competing priorities

Preferred qualifications:

MS/PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field.
5+ years of industry experience in data science, machine learning, or AI research
