MACHINE LEARNING ENGINEER (JP)

Location: Budapest, hybrid

Salary: competitive

Tasks:

Work on an exciting new technology for the B2B and B2C market, with a revolutionary new AI technology to be launched later this year
Design and build scalable Machine Learning (ML infrastructure to deploy and serve models in production environments
Implement robust ML pipelines for training, validation, and deployment of ML and language models, including Reinforcement Learning (RL).
Optimize model performance for production workloads including latency, throughput, and resource efficiency
Collaborate with data scientists to productionize research models and ensure reliable deployment
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines specifically designed for machine learning workflows

Core responsibilities:

Build and maintain scalable ML infrastructure for model training
Deploy and monitor ML models and LLM applications in production environments
Optimize model performance and implement efficient serving architectures
Collaborate with data science teams to translate research into production-ready systems
Design automated testing and validation pipelines for ML model quality assurance

Requirements:

Proficiency in Python and software engineering best practices (testing, version control, documentation)
Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and model deployment tools
Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration platforms
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their ML services
Familiarity with data engineering tools and workflow orchestration (Airflow, Kubeflow, MLflow)
Understanding of system design principles, APIs, and microservices architecture
Experience with monitoring and observability tools
Proven track record of deploying and maintaining ML models at scale
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to optimize system performance
Experience working in collaborative environments with data scientists and product teams
Results-oriented mindset with focus on reliability, scalability, and maintainability

Preferred qualifications:

BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
Experience with real-time model serving and high-throughput inference systems
Knowledge of distributed computing frameworks and GPU optimization
Familiarity with LLM deployment challenges including model quantization and efficient inference
